Aaron Young | Real Estate Professional, Entrepreneur & Community Advocate
Aaron Young brings local knowledge, entrepreneurial experience and a lasting commitment to Kawartha Lakes to his work with The North Realty Group Team. A longtime resident, Aaron helps buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and investors understand their options and move forward with confidence.
His work includes commercial properties, industrial space, development land and residential real estate. Whether helping a family relocate, finding premises for a growing business or exploring a property’s investment potential, Aaron combines practical business insight with an understanding of the communities that make the Kawarthas a distinctive place to live and work.
Aaron’s connection to the region extends well beyond real estate. Aaron and his wife, Jennifer Boksman, were the creators of Lindsay’s Pie Eyed Monk Brewery, helping bring a new hospitality destination to a historic downtown building. In 2018, the City of Kawartha Lakes recognized Aaron and Jennifer with its Osprey Award for Business Leader Heritage.
Together, Aaron and Jennifer also founded and ran the local Ribfest for 11 years, bringing people together while supporting community organizations, including Kawartha Lakes Food Source and the Humane Society, Ross Memorial Hospital and many more. Their commitment combined local entertainment, charitable support and opportunities for businesses to connect with residents and visitors.
Aaron is also a founding member of 100 Men of Kawartha Lakes, helping establish a group that brings local residents together to support charitable organizations through collective giving. His involvement reflects a belief that strong communities grow when people contribute their time, relationships and resources.
Most recently, Aaron received recognition as a “Friend of the Chamber of Commerce” for his dedication and commitment to making the City of Kawartha Lakes a better place to live and establish businesses.
Aaron continues to pursue opportunities that connect housing, business and community development through his leadership role with NorsemenHaus.com. Its focus on modular homes, additional dwelling units and attainable housing options reflects his commitment to addressing housing affordability.
For Aaron, real estate is about understanding what a property can make possible—for a family, a business or the wider community. He offers clients a grounded local perspective, a hands-on approach and a personal commitment to the region he proudly calls home.
